Pan-Russian Alpine skiing competitions “Kamchatskiy krai governor’s Cup” open a peculiar festival of Kamchatka’s winter sports. These competitions take place on “Edelveys” and “Moroznaya” ski-centers. For the first time the competitions were conducted in 2010. The strongest alpine skiers of Russia take part in the competitions. Its program includes slalom and dual slalom. The competitions take place under the auspices of Kamchatskiy krai governor. The prize fund is 300 hundred rubles. The winners of any area of the festival are prized with certificates and valuable prizes.
