From the 24th to 30th of May
This festival got an official status which is held from the 24th to 30th of May. The program is very interesting and cognitive: the meeting of the sunrise on the shore of the Pacific Ocean, the hotels and museums are opened for everyone, sport competitions and competitions of young tourists are held, the best music groups and singers’ performance: ensemble “Prelestnye Glazky”, native ethnical dance ensemble “Luch”, native folk ensemble “Vesnyanka”, model children choreographic ensemble “Smeshinki”, national costumes demonstration. Raffle off the Valley of Geysers helicopter excursion and recreation departments. Persons interested in excursions can take part in free bus and by foot city-tours of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city.
Festival aim: increasing of safety level and the quality of the tourist product in the region, preservation and efficient use of the tourists’ resources.
