The Koryak traditional festival of the sea animal seal “Hololo” is a concentration of the ancient ceremonies, ritual dances and songs. The festival begins from the “Gratitude” and “Purification” ceremonies. The guests can try the original Koryak national cuisine made of meat and fish, listen to the solo songs, watch the ancient ceremonies and the tambourine playing, see the women dance and men strength contest. The festival ends with a disco in national style. From 2010 the festival “Hololo” got a status of an official festival.
